For AW’ 11 the Eye Of The World Designs accessories
collection continues to use natural and reclaimed materials from the UK,
primarily wood, to create one off hand made accessories in Peckham UK.
Touching on inspirations of Pierre Cardin, and Paco Rabanne,
who’s design aesthetic focused upon sleek modernism and interesting materials
and translating these key focuses into fresh, unique accessories. Our Love of metallic surfaces and defined
sharp shapes transforms into wooden sculptured buckles with dramatic effect,
blurring the boundaries between interior design and high fashion.
Materials used
include reclaimed wood of the highest standard eg. a 1950’s Butterfly Cabinet
reclaimed from The Natural History Museum, man made Perspex, high quality metal
buckles and PVC.

Eye Of The World Designs
is based on quality and hand finished craftsmanship. Each piece is unique,
designed and hand crafted in house by our design duo Liam Motyer and Hope Von
Joel in Peckham, South London, UK.

In Paris at ‘Capsule’, Italian Vogue showed great
interest in the collaboration, blogging the accessories as one of their Paris fashion

website.
